Need a help for adding the groups into the project roles by API calls.

Hi Community,

We are using JIRA Version: 9.4.3

I want to add a group "ABC" to "XYZ" project with admin/Developer/user roles in Jira Project.

Since there are over 300 projects and every project need to add different groups in project roles, I can't manually go in each project add that group.

Could you please suggest is there any API calls to achive this?

Hi @Vasanthakumar V ,

You can achieve the above requirement using the https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6398/jira-command-line-interface-cli?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview.

Jira CLI will work on the REST API provided by the Atlassian.
