My Jira issue gets duplicated automatically.

Hi all,

I am using the API call to create an issue in Jira in a project that I select from my UI.

For every issue I create, a duplicate issue gets created automatically.

This happens for issues created via my API, API via Postman, and Issues created in the Jira dashboard.

The only observable difference between the two issues is that in one of them, the reporter is me. In the other one, the reporter is "Automation for Jira"

Almost every other detail in the two issues is the same.

Hi @Maulik Panchal , 

since the reporter is "Automation for Jira", this is probably an automation rule in "Automation for Jira". 

Please check in your project administration which rules apply to the project you get the duplicates in, there is probable a "clone issue" rule active somewhere that clones created issues.
