Multiple quick filters selection

Is there a planned enhancement to allow multiple quick filters selection to be applied in Jira cloud? Or best workaround for the below scenario?

At the moment the Quick Filter functionality doesn't let you show all the issue that match Quick Filter 1 plus all the issues that match Quick Filter 2. Example, selecting Quick filter 1 by Assignee =Peter and Quick filter 2 as assignee = Angela, doesn't bring any results.

The unknown workaround for this is the creation of OR/and quick filters which will include both assignees or other type of filters. This isn't practical in most scenarios, as my requirements for assignees to show together or epics/pieces of work differs all the time, so presetting the quick filter isn't useful.

@yuliya Nayton ,

Welcome to the community!

I have searched the 'JAC', which is the public database from Atlassian storing bugs/new feature requests and decisions on them (like 'FIxed/Won't do, etc'). I can't seem to find any request about it here, however I can imagine it must be somewhere since it used to be quite relevant, indeed.

However, are you aware that in Cloud, you can achieve what you're searching for using the Assignee-icons right next to the search bar on a board? Here, you can multi-select and it will 'stack' selections instead of limiting them like Quick Filters

Maybe you can try the Dynamic JQL Filters, Instead of relying on predefined Quick Filters, you can use dynamic JQL to apply ad-hoc filters based on your changing requirements, without hardcoding specific values (like assignees or epics).
Example:
jql
assignee in (Peter, Angela) OR "Epic Link" = "EPIC-789" OR priority = "low"
Another workaround is to use Jira Dashboards with gadgets (like Filter Results or Two Dimensional Filter Statistics) where you can define multiple filters and view them in a consolidated way. For example, you can create separate filters for Peter’s and Angela’s issues and display them side by side. This doesn’t apply directly to the board but gives you an overview of results in one place.

Hi @yuliya Nayton

Currently, Jira Cloud does not have a built-in feature that allows you to select multiple Quick Filters at once
