Multiple Categories to a Single Issue for Display on Boards?

Hi

I am looking to enhance how we track and manage issues by assigning multiple categories to a single issue. We want these categories to be visible and usable on our Jira boards. 

Any insights or guidance on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest using Components instead of Categories. But having said that, can you share a screenshot of what you have?
