Moving a story from closed sprint

I am currently in Sprint 2 and want to move a story from 1-->2.

When I try editing the story, I can add the sprint 2 but I cannot delete sprint 1 so my story is coming in both the sprints. I want to remove the story from previous sprint.

Hi Saurabh,

If I understand your scenario, you are able to find both Sprint-1 and Sprint-2 details in your user story's "Sprint" column, is that correct?

If so, this happens when you move user story from one sprint to the other due to any valid rationale, this I believe is a functionality in Jira which tells the history from which sprint the story is getting spilled over.

True, I see both sprints attached to my story though i just want to see the sprint it has moved to.
