×Hi
I'm missing button "start sprint"/"create sprint" in next-gen projects. Project is freshly created and current user is adming
@vicm, Ensure you have the Sprints feature enabled - project > Features > turn on Sprints if not on.
@vicm, so I’m quite confused here as the image you shared is not a NG project. Are you mixing two issues/projects in one question? If you are not seeing the start sprint for the “WDP-UI” project then as @Prakhar Srivastav {Appfire} mentioned please check that you have manage sprint permissions. If this is the project you are inquiring about I would suggest editing your title here.

@Jack Brickey I'm also confused.
At least is says to me "You are in a next-gen project" and it was created as next-gen project. And WDP-UI was created as NG project and in sidebar I see related to settings etc.
Why It looks to You as not NG project?

Yikes! My bad! It is indeed. I guess I need more coffee. :-(
let me do a couple tests on my side and get back to you in a bit.

@vicm, sorry again for the confusion. I'm working too many things at once.
Are you the owner of this project, i.e. did you create it? I'm believe you need to be the owner to manage the sprints. While there may be a way to give others the ability I don't know if that is possible. With that said, a couple of things I find odd about your situation. The fact that you see the sprint control lines leads me to believe you have permission to mange the sprint and are likely the owner. The fact that you are getting that error tells me there is some bug. Just to rule out a browser interop issue can you try a different browser?

I just ran a test w/ another user and indeed they also see the start sprint and control lines and are able to manage the sprint just fine. So this says there is something specific to your instance. Either it is a browser issue OR it is a bug. either way I would suggest you reach out to Atlassian Support
Please update this thread once you get closure w/ or w/o Atlassian's input.

Please verify if you have manage sprint permission.
You can find this link to help you in verification.

@Prakhar Srivastav {Appfire}, this is associated with Next-gen projects (cloud only) for which permissions are a thing of the past. At least as the document in your link presents.
