Migration of Workflow scheme is Blocked

In the already existing workflow scheme, requirement was to add a new issue type with a copy of workflow.

When the workflow scheme was published, the migration is stuck and the screen is grayed out.

The message shown is "Migration in Progress. You cannot make changes to this page while a migration is in progress for this scheme"

Hello @Binisha

Thank you for reaching out.

The error you are facing can be caused by many different reasons, however, the most common of them is when a long-running task is stopped in a cluster of Jira Datacenter and stay incomplete, causing the job to be blocked in your instance.

We have a bug about this behavior here:

Bulk Operation can get stuck in JIRA Data Center

That being said, I suggest you try the following, logged as an Administrator:

1 - Check for more details of the error in the development tools of the browser

2 - Check if any errors are returned in your Jira Logs. If you can identify the job that must be blocked, try the workaround steps described in the bug.

3 - Run the Integrity Checker to verify errors in your workflow integrity. Fix any possible errors

Let us know if you have any questions.

Hi Petter,

I'm facing the same issue with the same context.

I added a new issue type in the workflow scheme, and the new workflow i assigned to the new type is a (modified) copy of the formerly unique workflow of the said scheme.

When i publish the workflow scheme change, it says "All issue types and statuses can be migrated automatically.", but then when i click "Associate", i get some sort of "blank" page that only shows a cancel button.

PS: I use the CLOUD version...
