Hi All,
We are planning to move from the data center to the cloud. We have ScriptRunner for the Jira plugin in our data center, and we have multiple behaviors, listners, post functions, and everything that can be done using the scriptrunner we have in our instance. But not if we move to the cloud; ScriptRunner for Jira cloud is totally different in terms of scripting.
We are wondering
1. how does migration work here?
2. Does it cause issues in the configured workflows or whenever we use the plugin?
Thanks in advance for all the help.
Regards,
Allena
Hello @ramyaallena

How to migrate Scriptrunner for Jira DC to Jira Cloud
Feature parity between ScriptRunner for Jira DC and Jira Cloud
The app does not work exactly the same in Jira Cloud. There are features that work in Jira DC that will not work in Jira Cloud. You will need to review the documentation and your usage to determine which things will not migrate, which things need to be fixed after migration, and which things need to be recreated in some other way (if possible) in Jira Cloud.
One of the main points near the top of the page "How to migrate" is that all scripts must be rewritten, and there is a link to a page with tips.
If you find this to be a daunting task, you may want to consider getting assistant in the assessment, and/or planning, and/or execution of your migration from an Atlassian Partner that specializes in Cloud Migrations.
Disclosure: I work for Praecipio, an Atlassian Platinum Solution partner and we do have Cloud Migration among our specializations.
You can look for a suitable partner in Atlassian's Partner Directory.
