Migrating from Bugzilla 5.0.3 to Jira

This article says Jira's Bugzilla-to-Jira migration tool supports Bugzilla up through version 4.4.4:

I'd like to migrate to Jira from Bugzilla 5.0.3.

Has anybody tried that? Does the migrator work? Any experiences, good or bad, to share?

I don't have experience with your specific version, but over the years I have migrated many versions of Bugzilla that were later than what was supported.  I believe the Bugzilla database schema is pretty stable, so I would try it.  Obviously, do not try it for the first time on your production Jira instance!
