Migrate Jira project company managed to another jira cloud instance

Trying to migrate a Project company managed to a different cloud instance, we tried using "Migrate Jira cloud" option but it looks like it only migrate Team managed projects.

How can we accomplish this?

Does the destination cloud site already have projects in it? If not, using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant could be an option. I think this is what you are saying you already tried or checked. The JCMA will bring the project, the users and all the configuration to the new instance, BUT, it will also overwrite everything that is there already.

If the destination site already has data / people are already working there, I would suggest you could export the all of the issues and then manually recreate the project and the configuration in the new instance, and then import the issues.

Do you mean you looked at the "Migrate cloud site" option under System Administration?

That option actually migrates only Company Managed projects, not Team Managed projects, as per the documentation.

If the project is Company Managed Software or Work Management, or one of the set of  types of Company Managed Service Management that is supported, then you should be able to use the Cloud to Cloud migration option.

We are trying the cloud migration option now and working with Atlassian support because we are getting a lot of errors, including custom fields.
