Hi,
In my Jira project, I have created several Automation rules and they work fine. However, there is one manual trigger automation rule that I can not see anywhere on the Jira Story/Epic, so I am unable to trigger or run it.
Am I missing any permissions? I have an Administrator role associated with my User.
Thank you for your help and info.
Regards,
Damir
Hi @Damir Peric -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Has the manually triggered rule been configured to restrict the groups who may run it? If so, are you in one of the restricted groups selected?

Is this not done? I'm having the same problem 2025-05-08. How can this not be fixed? The normal automations work, but the buttons are only rendered in the "Old" jira issue view. But not when I use the Product Discovery/Ideas.
Instead of moving tickets to one status "Added to tech board", with 7 manual rules for each development team, I now have to create 7 different statuses and add an automated rule:
Status: "Added to team 1:s board"
Status: "Added to team 2:s board"
Status: "Added to team 2:s board" ....
This is a basic function :0

Hi @Damir Peric
For more clarity on Manual Triggering of Automation role, go through the below knowledge url, I am assuming you will get to know, where you have missed some configuration, which you are not able to see the rule.
