Making a closed issue read only

JasonD July 31, 2014

I have a custom workflow, when I transition to closed status and give it a resolution (fixed), I expected the issue to become read only (ie. the edit button would disappear). However it is still editable. Is there some post function I am missing? Anyone know the secret sauce?

Thx.

There's a workflow property you add to steps where you want to stop edits.

I can't do it from memory, but open up the JIra default workflow and look at the "closed" step's "properties". You'll find it is used there.

Thx!

For future reference:

add the property:

jira.issue.editable

and set it's value to false
