Mail handlers Issue

Hi,

When ever an issue is being created using mail handlers, its been set to critical.How can I change the Default settings to Medium?

Actually; the built-in mail handlers will attempt to match the email's "priority" field to the priority list in JIRA. Regular is Major, High is Blocker and Low exchange priority results in Normal priority in Jira

If the incoming email is set to a high priority, the corresponding issue will be created with a higher priority than the default priority that is set in your JIRA system.

Thanks for your response.

I am sending a regular email to the mail handler and it still setting it up as critical.Is there a way to change it to medium by default.
