Looking to store a calculated percent Progress from story points in a field

Hello, community! I can currently show Progress based on story points (and # issues) in the Timeline, but there is no way to store this dynamic number in a field from what I can determine.

Looking to see if any other smart folks have figured out how to get this number into a numeric field that I can display on the Timeline, ideally without a plugin. I appreciate it.

You would need to create your own custom field for holding that information, and then execute steps to perform the calculation the generate the number.

You could do that calculation and store the value via an Automation Rule.
