List View Question

Hello! 

My team is using a team-managed project, however in list view, the fields shown are different per each user. I was under the impression that the view stayed the same for everyone on the team. How does it get fixed to where everyone has the same view?

Not sure what to do, or just have one person make the master order and have everyone else copy it.

as already suggested, the list view is currently "per user". You may want to watch (and perhaps upvote) this feature request.

Alternatively, if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, there are options available. I'll add more information below.

... and just to expand on the last point: If you're looking for an immediate resolution and are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. Plus, any changes that you make to the fields of your view are, by default, shared with all your team members!

Unfortunately there's no way to manage List View columns for everyone yet.

That's right! Each user can customise their own List View in Jira.

Hopefully, Atlassian will add a way to set a default view for everyone soon
