We are looking for the ability to be able to populate Jira Service Desk tickets to our Jira Kanban – Board, the post below references linking to a Jira Service Desk project and issues can then be populated to the Todo or Backlog of a specific team board. This has been found in multiple posts on Atlassian community support, but I am not seeing documentation on how to create the link allowing us to link Jira Service Desk directly to Jira Kanban.

You can do that by simply creating a card or cloning the JSM card to your Classic Software project. That can be done using a post function in your workflow or using an add-on like Automation For Jira or ScriptRunner.
