Ok we are running a project in Jira and there is a certain Epic called migration and we have a team that will plan the visits for the engineers in this Epic. It would be great if they could do that with a simple form.
How can I make a form that assigns tasks in this epic and not in the overall project
Hi @Bart Teunis
Thanks for Reaching out to the community,In project settings you can find the forms.
Click on add forms it shows create template or Blank,if you select template it shows like software,HR,etc or else create blank
Once the form is created then it will show in the epic link there you can configure what else you need, refer the images for better understanding
Hi @Bart Teunis
You can create a link like it was described here - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Help-creating-a-link-to-create-a-new-issue-in-Jira/qaq-p/806678 and in url add parent field with value that will fill it with epic.

Seba

Hello Sebastian,
This is not what I am looking for. I want a form that creates a task in a certain Epic not in the overal project.
So th Epic is migration and the form creates a task in the Epic migration

Creating a task in certain Epic technically is create a task in project and filling parent field to connect this ticket with your Epic. My idea was to prepare a link where create ticket window will pop up but with predefined connection with your epic.
I don't know other way to achieve this.
