Leaving and deleting a Jira Site.

I've been trying to get to grips with Jira and struggling. Long long time BitBucket user, been using Jira for about 3 weeks.

To illustrate my question, here's a screen of my 'start' area. 

1) I created the site 'ben-hutchings877' by mistake while I was trying to rename a site. I want to delete it. It has no products or associations I don't think. How do I go about nuking it as though it never happened?

2) A fellow dev did a test and added me to their site. I can't really contact the dev now. How do I leave this 'andrzej-jarzebowski' site please?

Hi @meredevelopment,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

For the instances that you are the admin for and want to delete, go to that site and then select Administration. From here go to Manage subscription and then click on the dot menu and select delete. This will start the process of deleting that instance.

 

Regarding the site you were added to as a user, unfortunately you cannot remove yourself from that instance unless you have admin rights on it.

Thanks Mikael, I've done that (Friday) and I'll check back over the next few days to see if it worked. If so I'll accept this answer.

Are you f*** serious?! Some spammers added me to their projects and I can't leave these projects without admin rights? Guys, what's wrong with you?
