Launch / Link xls file from Jira

Hi

Our Test Cases are in xls and maintained on our LAN. Is there anywas to link and launch these from Jira.

Ive tried UAL custom field but it doesnt seem to work with network files only https.

I dont want attachements as the Test Case may change/be updated on the LAN
