Kanban epic swimlanes: Unable to show Stories labelled with X but part of Epic not labelled with X

We have epics where certain tasks like wireframe creation, prototype, etc. are labelled for UX team to work on.

The UX team have started using a Kanban board where they want to show all stories labelled for them.  They have the "Base Swimlanes on Epics" view for their board, so they can see all their tasks per epic.

Strangely though, UX-labelled tasks show up only for epics with UX team labelling.  That means each epic needs to have UX team labelling, in addition to the stories carrying that label.  This is happening in "Base Swimlanes on Epics" view only.  For other views, the stories are showing without the need for epic labelling.  But that alters the view the team wants to use.

We don't want to add such labelling on epics.  Is there any way to solve the problem?
