Hi ,
We have migrationed jira one data centre to another data centre, data also copy source to destination, but users create ticket duplicate tickets create, for ex: source side ticket : Abc-123 , user create ticket in destination side ticket create same number: ABC- 123, how to resolve the issue.
Thanks
Amar
Did you follow migration checks and processes defined by Atlassian?
if you have migrated the data from one db to another, then it is likely you will face the issue that you are talking about,

@Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ We are migrated jira old data centre to new data centre, users create new data centre it showing duplicate jira ticket number. Old jira data base move to new data centre Ex old jira ticket number ABC- 123, user create new ticket new jira ticket after create ticket it showing same ticket number ABC- 123
Thanks

@amar amarendra how did u move ticket to target instance?

Hi @amar amarendra ,
when you migrate from one instance to another one, ticket numbers could not be the same. The target project has an own number field that increase automatically for each ticket created
Example :
Source project ticket to import : ABC-1,ABC-5,ABC-6
Target project import result : ABC-1, ABC-2(related to ABC-5 in source), ABC-3(related to ABC-6 in source).
Hope this clarifies your doubt,
Fabio
