Currently, I can't access Timeline, Active Sprint board and backlog on my Jira account. It keeps loading without displaying anything.
I have cleared my cache/browser history but it's not working, I have also logged out and logged in back.
Please I need help on this.
@Abiodun Famoye welcome to the community. You didn't mention what MacOS you're running with, are you on the latest OS? Do you have Chrome or another browser installed on your Mac? Do you experience the same behavior? Is there someone else on your team with another PC or Mac that can try this out to see if it's a user specific issue?
I can try this on my Mac later, but I would suggest making sure you're on the latest OS. I looked on Atlassian's Jira site and didn't find anything similar to this issue.
Hope that helps.
Thank you for the reply.
It's working now, I had to update my Safari browser.
Thank you!

Wait, how is upgrading macOs even a viable option, i need to update my whole macOS to access a page in browser? Im not running IE8 or something old, its Safari released last year, doesnt make any sense to me.
Maybe fix from Jira would be better??

You're right.
My current workaround is to use the unsupported native macOS Jira app.

As written here,
"It's possible for Atlassian cloud products to work with some unsupported browsers. Atlassian cloud products check browsers for the presence of methods that are required for the product to work correctly. If these browser methods aren't detected, you receive an error message that the browser isn't supported."
But this is not about unsupported method, its a syntax error + i dont get any message about unsupported browser.

Do we have any solution for those who are using Safari browser version 15.6.1?
For me it is not possible to upgrade the browser version as there are some constraints on my machine, is it officially called off support for the version?

Same issue for me. 15.6.1 Safari on Monterey. I took my travel laptop to my offsite location for 3 weeks and cannot work now :-D this is crazy.

Hi!
So, the only way is update the whole OS?
I can't update only Safari.
Thanks

FYI - I was able to resolve the issue for myself by updating just Safari to Version 17.4.1 (19618.1.15.11.14) - while reaiming on macOS Monterey Version 12.7.2. But, since then I have also updated to macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 (23E224).

Hi @Sergey Guenender, you can consider updating your Safari to Version 17.4.1 (19618.1.15.11.14). You can find this update when you navigate to 'Software Update'. You can chose to update just the Safari internet browser, or your macOS as well. The former is quick, the latter will take more time. Hope that helps. Regards

Thanks, @Jojo Thomas , I'll need to update to Sonoma soon, due to Xcode constraint, but it is really strange that relatively recent browser version is not supported. Is this behavior even documented?
