For about a month now, any column customization under "list" view reset to defaut every monday.

For instance, I hide specific columns and display others.

Every monday, it all reverts back to default view.

Help please.

Hi @Sam Chaalal ,

There seems to be an open issue for JWM (now business projects) related to List issue view and logging out/in: JWMCLOUD-772: The columns in the List View of JWM are reset to default after user logs out and closes the browser (there's also this suggestion)

I'm not using List view that often so I didn't notice it but what you're describing might be related to restored user sessions.

Additionally, you could reach out to Atlassian Support for them to have additional check of the behavior.

I feel this can be 'not so ideal' so I hope it will get resolved soon.

Cheers,
Tobi

Hi @Sam Chaalal

welcome to the community!

I don't know if this problem, in itself, justifies additional tooling for you, but just to put it out there in case it is useful: If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a range of advanced features - including support for (configurable) issue hierarchiesissue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting - and works across any number of projects.

Plus, all your view preferences - be it columns, grouping, filters, or your issues' expanded/collapsed state - are always persisted, so you'll always find your JXL sheet just like you left it. You can also save any set of preferences as a dedicated view that you can easily activate, but also share with your team mates.

This is how it looks in action:
