Under macOS 12.7 (Monterey), I updated to Safari 17.0 and now some of the Jira interface elements are "wonky" or non-functional. For example, the left sidebar often just shows a bunch of grayed out placeholders for the icons that usually show up (Backlog, Current Sprint, etc.) and the Quick Filters highlighting doesn't work.

It looks like my client is using "Atlassian Jira Project Management Software (v8.20.14#820014-sha1:5a6d13d:jiranode1)"

Hi @bugaboosoftware welcome to the community.  I don't have that specific combination of MacOS/Safari, I'm using Ventura (13.5.2) with Safari 17.0 and I'm not having any issues.  The pages weren't in cache, so the first time they took a little bit to load. But after that, it's snappy.

Have you have tried Chrome and experienced the same issues?Or are there other people using Monterey and a different version of Safari? Or do you have any users with Ventura that could try it out.   What are their results?  With Sonoma out, are you able to update MacOS and try it there?

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the response. I should have come back and posted that after a system reboot and reloading my numerous Jira pages, things started working properly. As you noted, pages were very slow initially but became more responsive over time.
