Jira and all related projects are not loading on Windows laptops (no response)

Phyoe Tay Zar Minn November 5, 2024

Our team members using Windows laptops are experiencing access and loading issues with Jira and its projects, while MacBooks are unaffected. Windows users are either unable to access Jira or facing no response.

Hello @Phyoe Tay Zar Minn

Are all the affected user using the same browser application? Have they tried different browser applications or private browser windows?

Has your technical support team worked with the user to use the in-browser tools to look at the network traffic and responses while the users are trying to access Jira?

Are those Windows laptops managed by your company? If so, has your company pushed some sort of update to those laptops recently?

They have tried different browsers (chrome and IE)

What about the other questions and debugging suggestions I provided?

I use both Mac and Windows laptops. I can access Jira projects from my Mac, but I'm unable to access them from my Windows laptop, even after trying different browsers. Interestingly, I can still access Confluence without issues. It seems that only Jira projects, including Scrum boards and backlogs, are affected, and this is a problem for other team members using Windows laptops as well. The technical support team hasn’t pushed any updates to our laptops, and we’ve also tried multiple Wi-Fi networks and mobile data connections without success.
