Hi @Kelly Flynn

It's Mary from Planyway for Jira

  1. Use the Jira Content Pack for Power BI: This allows you to quickly import Jira data into Power BI to analyze workloads, resolve issues, visualize velocity over time, and more. It's a starting point for building dashboards that can give you insights into your Jira projects.

  2. Connect Jira to Power BI Using a Connector: There are connectors available on the Atlassian Marketplace, such as the "Power BI Connector for Jira," which facilitate no-code integration between Jira and Power BI. This can be particularly useful for exporting data from Jira apps like Tempo, Xray, Time in Status, etc., into Power BI.

  3. Manual Integration via API: For a more customized integration, you can use the Jira API to fetch data into Power BI. This might require more technical knowledge and involves steps like generating an API token in Jira, using the "Get Data" feature in Power BI, and selecting "OData feed" to import the data.

Hi Mary

I've connected using the Jira Rest API in Power BI Desktop and can data out, but get a credentials error once the report is uploaded to the Power BI Service (no matter what connection type/credentials I use).

Is this something you have perhaps seen in the past?

Kind Regards

Dave

Hi @Kelly Flynn

There is an app for integration called Power BI Connector for Jira, you can try that.

Hi, thanks for responding. I've requested a trial to this, but I was hoping there was an advanced class that a third party may be offering.
