Dear each other
I have a problem with the signx.atlassian.net website. It is no longer available. But I can't create a new website that is already owned. Atlassian does not give the function to reset password or contact person of contact confirmation reachable. It really frustrates me because I was fighting all day. And it doesn't help any more. That's why I need to communicate here for the community, and I really hope someone can support me. Thank you very much for your support.
Hello @Markus Bürgi
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Did you create the original site, or did somebody in your company create the original site?
Have you been using a Free subscription for the Jira product or a paid subscription?
Are you an Site Administrator or an Organization Administrator for the site?
Atlassian does not abruptly deactivate sites with no warning, generally. If it is a paid site and the bill has not been paid, that is one reason a site may be deactivated. If it is a Free site and has been dormant (no logins) for an extended period of time, that is another reason it may be deactivated. In both cases the contacts for the site should've been receiving emails warning about the deactivation.
If you are not a contact for the site you need to reach out to the people within your company who are the Organization Admins, technical, and/or billing contacts for the site. If there is nobody left in your company who is a contact for the site you can go to https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ and open a ticket using the My Account option to reach out directly to Atlassian to have them reach out to the named contacts or request a change to the contacts, and get help reactivating the site.
Hello @Trudy Claspill
Thank you for sharing your feedback; I appreciate it.
We operate as a non-profit organization with a maximum of 10 team members, and hence we opt for the free version.
Regarding the Atlassian situation, I consulted my best friend yesterday. He informed me that he hadn't used Atlassian for a while and unfortunately forgot his password and didn't cancel the account properly. Consequently, the account is no longer accessible at signx.atlassian.net and has a new owner, making retrieval impossible.
I can reach out to https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ for assistance, but I believe a solution might be found within the community. It's quite frustrating dealing with Atlassian's website issues, and it's giving me quite a headache. I'm left wondering about Atlassian's customer service priorities; it seems they prioritize revenue over providing effective support.
So, what should be our next step?

Hello @Markus Bürgi
My recommendation is that you contact Atlassian support.
If you are on a Free subscription you should be able to open a case by selecting the My Account option. If you explain the situation to them, they may be able to help.
The members of this community are just users of the Atlassian products. We have no access to your site nor any special administration access to Atlassian Cloud. We cannot directly do anything to help you gain access to the site.
Every site that is created is created within an Atlassian Cloud Organization . By default the person who creates the Organization and Site will be an Organization Administrator and can access Organization Administration through https://admin.atlassian.com with the email address they used when they set up the site.
They have the option to specify other people as Organization Administrators.
If the person uses a company owned email address for this then the IT team for the company should be able to manage that email account and login with that email address
If the person uses a personal email address, they should be able to contact their email provider to regain access to the email account.
If they still have access to their email account but forgot their Atlassian Cloud password, they can go to id.atlassian.com/login and select Can't Login.
If they are unable to do that for some reason, and there are no other people who can currently access the site or Organization with administrator permissions, your only option is to contact Atlassian. There are legal limitations to what they can do about revealing the contacts for a site, but there may be some way they can help you.
