Hi Team,
We have 2 JIRA instances with Software and around 7+ Service Management projects, We are planning to merge in one instance on DC.
Is it possible to merge?
How Customer Portal looks then? It will be one portal will all projects?
How to handle JIRA Service Management projects in one instance?
Hi @RG ,
there is a specific article that explains the main steps to do that https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/merging-jira-instances-1167739611.html#:~:text=Merging%20Jira%20instances%20requires%20migrating,the%20same%20set%20of%20data.
I already did it using this powerful addon https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211147/project-configurator-for-jira?tab=overview&hosting=datacenter
On the target datacenter instance you will have one main portal with a specific portal for each Service Desk project (like in your current jira server instance).
Hope this helps,
Fabio
