Hello Community,
We're setting up the project board and absolutely need to work with filters but we're facing limitations since we don't use Jira Software Cloud. Right now, whenever I create quick filters, they are all displayed one by one in the quick filters bar above the columns. This an organizational nightmare since we need to have multiple filters and we can't even list all participants in order to filter by assignee.
Is there a way to create a group of quick filters and then select from a dropdown menu? For example, the group (dropdown) will be 'Status' and from the dropdown we would be able to select the different statuses to filter by?
Please see the screenshot to get an idea of what it looks like with each filter listed separately.
Thanks in advance for any tips.
Hello @Tsvetelina Hubenova ,
I don't see any built-in feature to group quick filters, but yes you can customize swimlanes
Or you can customize quick filters.
Or you can have another board with same configuration but different swimlanes.
Or you can choose 3rd party app like eazyBI.

Hi @Tsvetelina Hubenova
I'm not sure that Jira has a built-in feature like that.
I recommend you combine segregation by boards, swimlanes, and quick filters. For examplem you can base swimlanes on assignees.
Otherwise, explore some additional plugins such as Agile Tools & Filter for Jira Software.

Hello @Tsvetelina Hubenova
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
I'm not aware of a native solution for that, but somebody else may know of one.
Are you open to adding a plugin to your environment?
If so, you might want to investigate this as an alternative solution:
Agile Tools & Filters for Jira
I've not personally used it before, and there may be other apps that offer comparable functionality.
