Is there a way to see values of a linked issue within a jira search. Currently I can only see the ID, but I would like to also be able to see it's status, priority and components if possible.
If you would be interested in an add-on for this need, you can try out our plugin.
The app shows your linked issues in a tree view and the ability to add all your jira columns in the report, plus you will be able to export them as well to a csv file in a hierarchy or a flat format as per your need.
The app has multiple other features which are very useful in project tracking and management.

Hello @Nate Dickinson
No, that is not possible with the native Jira search screen. Each row can display the information for only one issue, and those rows are the data in the issues that match the search criteria.
The issues linked to those issues are displayed only because the link is part of the main issue. The linked issues themselves are not being evaluated against the search criteria. If they were, they would each have their own row in the search results.
Additionally there could be multiple linked issues, and the additional fields you want to display for them could themselves have multiple values. How could you possible correlate those values the the 2..n linked issues?
There are probably third party apps that provide a method to show issue details plus the details of linked issues in a single output form.

The Status field is visible (between the Key and Linked Issues column). Based on the following issue in Atlassian's backlog, it doesn't appear that it is possible to add new columns.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-36490
And given that this has been open for 10 years, my guess is that it will never be implemented.

You're answer is off track. That applies to the Linked Issues section in the view of an individual issue. The OP is asking about the View All Issues (issue search) screen.

@Trudy Claspill Thanks for the correction and clarification!
