Jira Mobile App:
We currently trialing the Jira service desk and would like to know the following please:
1. Can customers use the Jira mobile App to raise issues?
2. Does the customer need a license to raise requests?
3. Is the customer portal available on the Jira app for raising requests?
These questions are key to use buying the licenses as we trying to push customers to use the mobile app /portal on the mobiles to raise request instead of sending through an email request.
The Jira mobile app is designed to work with licensed users. It is useful for agents to support customers as well as licensed JSW/Core users to monitor/work issues. It is not designed for JSM "Customers". The user must have an Atlassian account to log into the app. Generally speaking Customers do not but they may. However, if they do have an account, while they could log into the app, unless they have been licensed to use JSW or JSM they will not be able to access any projects/issues.
