Hello there,

We use Jira Insight as our CMDB which includes Firewalls.

I want to make the field "OS Version" mandatory if the field "Status" is set to "spare part". "Status" is a select field with the options "prod", "retired", "staging" and "spare part". "OS Version" is a text field with the  validating regex [0-9]{1,2}\.[0-9]\.[0-9]{1,2}. This means 1 or 2 digits, then a period, 1 digit, another period and finall 1 or 2 digits.

I know I can make the minimum and maximum 1 if I want the field to be always mandatory, but it I would like it only to be mandatory when "Status" is "spare part".

Any help is appreciated, thank you
