Jira -Data center version - API

Hello All,

I just wanted to know if jira data center version support same API specification as of jira server rest apis?

Going to use a clustered one than from a common jira server. can there be any possible impacts on API specifications/response formats?

Hello @reshmi raveendran

Yes, Jira data center supports the same API specification as server. At the end data center is just a cluster of Jira server nodes (no changes at all).

One of the benefits of using data center, is that you can leave one node away from the daily user traffic (dark node) to be used only to serve API requests.
