I would like to backup one instance of Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud to a different instance of Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud. Bringing over the data would be fine, but what I really want is to bring over is all the configurations (Issue Types, Workflows, Screens, Custom Fields, etc.)
The Backup Manager seems to imply it will only bring over data. Is there a way to bring over configurations and data? The online documentation around this process is not very clear to me.
Hi Robert,
When you restore a cloud backup, to migrate data from one cloud instance to another. A cloud to cloud migration is a full instance backup that is copied from the source Jira instance fully moved to the destination system, and all the configuration data come across with the issue data.

Earl
Hi Earl, Is there a way to restore a Jira Cloud production backup to a new instance without restoring all the users? My concern is that if we restore the users it will impact licensing for the platform. Thx

You could do a cloud to cloud migration to move data from one cloud instance into another.
Thx
