Jira Activity Stream with FishEye changesets - URL to FishEye wrong

Lars Nordin March 26, 2012

In the Jira Activity Stream dashboard/gadget with FishEye changesets - the URL to FishEye wrong. The hostname is listed and not the whole domain name.

In the Application Links section, I corrected the display URL value to include the hostname and I have restarted both Jira and FishEye but the commits still use the shortened hostname.

Got an anwser from Atlassian:

I believe that the Site URL has not been modified after FishEye was proxied. To change the site URL for FishEye, kindly do the following:

  1. Access your FishEye instance and go to Administration
  2. Locate the Server link under the Global Seetings column
  3. Once the Server Settings screen appear, click on the Edit Settings button
  4. Locate the Site URL field (the very bottom field) and enter the value https://code.<domain>.com/
  5. Then, click on the update button
  6. Restart your FishEye instance to make sure the changes take effect

After you have done the above suggestion, replicate the problem again on your JIRA and see whether the problem persists. JIRA will now use the Site URL value for FishEye links.

Not yet. I did "poke atlassian" but haven't heard anything back yet.
