Steve Pan March 3, 2021

Hey guys

I get an error when I'm trying to install atlassian-jira-core-8.15.0-x64.bin on my own server:

Cannot load connection class because of underlying exception: com.mysql.cj.exceptions.WrongArgumentException: Malformed database URL, failed to parse the connection string near '=InnoDB'.

CentOS version:7.6.1810

Jira version:8.15.0

MySQL version:8.0.22

Im using mysql-connector-java-8.0.11.jar(already copy this jar to /lib)

Appreciate for your help.thanks

Hi @Steve Pan ,

from the error message, I think it's an issue with how you've set the mysql URL, could you please check what you put there ? It should be in your Confluence HOME in the confluence.cfg.xml file.

Let me know if this helps,
