Jira 5.0 LDAPS error question.

We have LDAP working but cannot get LDAPS working. Our error is:

Root exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.atlassian.crowd.directory.ssl.LdapHostnameVerificationSSLSocketFactory

Any ideas as to what we are doing wrong?

Hi John,

Are you getting that error when you try and test the connection? Even with the error does JIRA let you save the config? If so you could be hitting this known issue - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-27347 Which seems to suggest that LDAPS is actually working and will sync, but there's a bug which causes the test to error.
