JQL to find a jira issue which where the fix version does not match the fix version of linked issue.

We have a project where we track one-time fixes that we deploy to customers. The fix version of that project needs to match the fix version of the linked issue to ensure we do not stomp the one-time fix when we do the next update.

Sometimes we change the fix version of the linked issue and I want a way to write a subscription JQL that will alert me when the fix versions of the 2 issues do not match, but I can't find how to do that.

Example:

JIRA issue A: CRIT-1

JIRA issue B: SPD-1

We link CRIT-1 to SPD-1 with a link type of "CRIT"

I want the query to result in CRIT-1 when the fix version of CRIT-1 and SPD-1 are not equal.

Hello @Lexi

Your requirement cannot be fulfilled with native JQL capabilities. Would you consider adding a third party application to your system to achieve your requirement?

@Trudy Claspill  do you have an app to suggest that does this?
