JIRA is locked

Hi, we cant access jira. We stopped JIRA, deleted the lock-file, started JIRA, same problem. This is what the log says,

JIRA 5.2.8 build: 851 started. You can now access JIRA through your web browser.

How should we solve this?

Hi Richard,

If deleting the lock file does not help your current situation, then the cause could be something else. I'm currently suspecting that there could be some bundled plugins that are required by your instance, yet is unable to be loaded properly.

I would recommend that you check out this KB - Troubleshooting JIRA Startup Failed Error, and implement the resolution steps mentioned there

also try to delete work folder located in installation directory.
