JIRA - always show default sub-task type in Create Dialog, not Recent

Pavel Antonenko August 23, 2017

Currently, when sub-task is created, at first, top subtask type in the list is shown, and next time - the last used subtask. But I need always show the top one. Alternatively it should be no selection. Is it possible?

The idea is to force users to choose sub-task type every time.

Hi Pavel,

Can you explain a little bit more about what you're trying to do?  When you say you want to always show the top one do you mean the first subtask that was created or would you like the last one created to be on top?  Also, are you referring to the subtask list in the issue view or from a jql search?

Cheers,

Branden

Brenden,

I'm talking about Create Dialog only. We have common mistake, that people create subtasks of wrong type. And we want to force user explicitly choose type for subtasks creation, and don't provide default option. And luckily we have deprecated sub-tasks type, with disabled creation in Workflow, which can work as "no default type"
