Has anyone else noticed that within a Test Execution, you can't see the details of each Test step? Within my Tests, I have the description, data and expected result - however this doesn't seem to come over to the Test Execution, which seems counterintuitive. How will a user know exactly what steps to follow within the Test Execution - they would need to have a separate window open with each Test? Hoping someone has an answer for this!
Thank you so very much for responding! So it seems we may have an issue/defect with our JIRA instance, since in your second link (Execute+Tests), my Test Steps section of the Execution screen looks different. Rather than showing each Test Step with the Data and Expected Results, it only shows the Test Step. The Data and Expected Results columns are missing. Any ideas on what I can do to correct this? I have administrative privileges, so I don't think it's an access issue.
Could you please open a ticket in the support channel with this issue? Feel free to add some screenshots, this way you'll get a faster answer to this.
Best regards,

Hi Katrina Cheng,
The Test Execution issue screen presents a list of the Tests that are part of it. You can also see their execution information since the Test Execution, in fact, shows the Test Run associated with each Test. The Test Run contains information about the recorded results.
To see the details of each Test Run, and thus go to the respective execution screen, you have to click on the execute icon as detailed here: https://confluence.xpand-addons.com/display/XRAY/Test+Execution#TestExecution-ExecuteTest
Then on the execution screen you can see and report results against each step, as detailed here: https://confluence.xpand-addons.com/display/XRAY/Execute+Tests
Best regards,
