JIRA Structure 3 - group by sprint automation put all tasks in backlog

Noa Kanner February 14, 2017

Hi,

I have a problem.

I use structure 3 .

I have many tasks which are related to a sprint and sprint field is not empty on those tasks.

when I use automation with groping according to sprint I get all tickets in new created backlog folder and no other folder.

even tasks with sprint field which belongs to active sprint go into backlog folder/container.

What do I do?

Thanks,

Noa

Hi Noa,

Are you using the standard Sprint field from JIRA Software? If that is the case this definitely doesn't sound right.

Could you please let us know your JIRA Software and Structure versions and make a screenshot of the structure with the grouping generator, folders and the Sprint column visible. Once we have that we can try to reproduce and troubleshoot this.

If you wish, you can create a ticket at support.almworks.com - this might be more convenient.

Kind regards,

Eugene (ALM Works)
