JIRA Server and Portfolio

Helmut Schreiber September 20, 2019

Does anyone know if Portfolio for JIRA (server) 3.10.0 compatible with JIRA Server 8.4.1? There are currently a lot of security issues and we must react!
0CVE-2019-1500, CVE-2019-1499, CVE-2019-1499, CVE-2019-1499, CVE-2019-1499,
CVE-2019-1499, CVE-2019-844, CVE-2019-845, CVE-2019-8451

OK. I ask the question differently. Does anyone know, when Portfolio will be compatible with the JIRA Server Version v8.4.1?

Hey @Helmut Schreiber - looks like we missed you by a day. Portfolio 3.11.0 is marked compatible with Jira 8.4.2. This should get you some upgrade assurance.

It's not always 100% certain, but occasionally plugins will actually be compatible with the most current releases but just haven't been tested/marked as such on Marketplace. If you have a development/staging environment for your server instance, you can try installing these plugins anyway and testing to see if they primary functions you utilize are working as expected. I wouldn't push a version that hadn't been marked compatible straight to production, but occasionally you can test one out and upgrade to a version that hadn't been marked compatible in a pinch.

Cheers,
Daniel

Not according to the latest supported version history from Portfolio

Looks like the latest supported Jira Server version is 8.3.4
