JIRA Integration with IBM SCCD

Hi All,

We want to integrate JIRA with IBM SmartCloud Control Desk (SCCD) so that change orders created in JIRA can be seen in control desk. Please let us know the possible ways to achieve this with some documentation.

Hey Prasad,

I'm not aware of any direct plugins that anyone's build specifically for SCCD and Jira.

Jira can trigger actions in other systems via these functions:

• Email notifications (would need to be parsed by SCCD)
• API calls (via a webhook in the workflow)

Not having worked with SCCD, I can't guess at how easy it would be to get SCCD to ingest/update things from Jira notifications.

There are also some third-party platforms that act as "glue" between systems you could check out. These things run as separate systems that have connectors on each of the systems you're trying to connect - the cost can be substantial though as the data has to be transformed by the third party to go between the two systems you're trying to connect. Some options I know of that work like this:
