JIRA CLI - User defined IssueKeys

Hi there,,

I've to import (create and update) Issues from an external ticketsystem via CSVs.

Using CLI, is there a way to have user-defined IssueKeys (like in the GUI as SysAdmin) ?

Has anyone xperience ? Because there is no channel back to the other system and I'll also have to update issues - then a user-defined IssueKey would be helpful ... regarding the debug messages it doesn't look like ... but maybe ...

Yes I know, I can create a mapping file but want to avoid this.

Hi @Norbert Hoppe - The usual practice in this case is to create a custom single-line text field to store the other systems unique ticket ID.  That field is then searchable just as the Jira issue key.
