Hi, I have an issue where the backlog view is not reliably showing issues.
I have issues with a parent that is an epic (PSD-51). When I show the epic panel in the backlog and I click on the epic it is only showing 16 out of 17 issues.
What is interesting is that when I hover my mouse over the Epic, it shows the correct issue count.
If I go to the List view and filter on the parent as epic PSD-51 - then all 17 issues show.
So, the missing issue from the board view is PSD-260.
If I move PSD-260 from DONE > IN PROGRESS … is now shows on the board:
Move it back to DONE… and it no longer shows?
However, there are many other issues that are in the DONE status showing?
I tried searching for how I can view/edit the underlying filter on my backlog, but I don't seem to have that option in the ... menu.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Hello @Scott Pyke
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
You appear to be using a Kanban board. Is that correct?
What type of project is it used for? Get that info from the Type column on the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.
I am thinking this is for a Team Managed project.
If so, the reason it disappears when the Status is Done is because Done issues will display only if the were moved from the Backlog to the Board. Done issues don't display in the Backlog list because the work is "done";. There is no reason to show such issues in the Backlog list. If you want the issue to display, move it to the Board section of the list and then mark it as Done.
