Is there documentation on the steps it would take to move from a Kanban board structure to Scrum?

I am currently working with a client that is using a Kanban board for their work, but in 2025 moving their work efforts to a Scrum Board with 2-week sprints. Is there any documentation to show the best way to do this, without losing backlog items in place today on the Kanban board style.

Hi @Lynn Mickelsen ,

You can already use 2 boards simultaneously - Scrum Board and Kanban board - if you would like to make the transition smoothly (even though don't see much sense here personally) or to show how it would look like. Just use the same filter for both boards and assign issues to the approriate sprints.

The biggest challenge isn't changing the board, from my perspective, but rather changing the way of working and partially the mindset.
