Is there any way to add version while creating a bug

Or version numbers are changing quickly. it would be nice if we could add a new bug number while creating a bug without having to goto another screen. We would implement a custom field except we want to leverage the standard integration with grasshopper and other standard version information.

is there any options here?

Not really. For one thing only project admins can create versions, but more people could potentially create issues.

You could use some custom field and then a post-function that creates a version, but I'd strongly recommend against it. You wouldn't capture the release date and description, and people will typo in the wrong versions etc.

Even if you add a new version every day you can prepopulate the next week's worth...
