Is there a way to use a gadget to show the definition of ready for in analysis stories?

Edited

I am looking to use a gadget to show each of the 7 aspects of the "definition of ready" against stories for my project. Ideally, it would be viewing stories that are not "ready" within a table view.

Theoretically, I would like to have each story, that doesn't meet the definition of ready, on the rows or x-axis.

And then every aspect of the definition of ready having their own column. This would show which aspects are still open, and in need of sign off. So, 7 columns, each containing one different aspect of the definition of ready. I'm not sure if this can be done, but please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Sean Libera

  • How are you representing the completion of each of your 7 aspects of DoR?
  • And, what marketplace addons, if any, do you have for dashboard gadgets?

Let's assume you are using 7 distinct Label values for each aspect, and you have no marketplace addons.

In that case, you could try the dashboard, Filter Results gadget, with a saved JQL filter which only returns issues missing one of your label values.  That would show the rows as keys with the labels adjacent.  Unfortunately that one cannot do the columns you asked about.  Other gadgets could give the columns for the aspects / labels, but not display the issue keys.

That saved filter could be subscribed to if you wanted to get an email report of the issues instead.

Perhaps try experimenting with a few of the gadgets to see if any work for you, and if not, investigate the Atlassian Marketplace for addons.

Kind regards,
Bill
