Is there a way to sync Jira advanced roadmaps with microsoft project.
The use case is that we can outline the epics, and stories, and assign stories to sprints that are about to be scheduled. Longer term epics I can outline the schedule using the dates and high level estimates.
I am able to model dependencies within a project, and use jira depends on between projects to show team interdependencies.
I am unable to model on the high level epics without a custom field that I will be assigning multiple individuals when we decompose the stories. I am able to workaround a limitation on resource management by creating a team for each individual and setting their allocation, I am unable to model how an individual ramps up on capacity over our quarterly planning.
I was considering exporting the plan into Microsoft project to work around those limitations to allow the PMO office to monitor costs and also see the resource plan necessary to meet a release.
